Services Policy

At Pose Aesthetics, our priority is to provide safe, professional, and personalised care. As we offer both prescription-only cosmetic treatments and non-prescription skin services, the following policies apply to all bookings, treatments, and purchases.

1. Consultations, Prescriptions & Consent
-
Certain treatments (including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and polynucleotide treatments) require a valid prescription under Australian law.
-
All new clients must undergo a medical consultation with a prescribing practitioner (doctor or nurse practitioner) before these treatments can be performed. This may occur in-clinic or via secure telehealth, depending on practitioner availability.
-
Prescriptions are issued at the discretion of the prescribing practitioner. A prescription is not guaranteed until your suitability and medical history have been reviewed.
-
All clients must complete and sign a medical history form and an informed consent form prior to treatment.
-
Treatment cannot proceed without a valid prescription and signed consent.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
-
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
-
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, will result in your deposit being forfeited. meaning the money will not be refunded and will be kept by the business. This policy is in place to compensate the business for the lost opportunity to offer the appointment slot to another customer and for the time and resources already committed.
-
Bookings are made for a specific treatment time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to complete your treatment and the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
3. Treatment Outcomes & Aftercare
-
Cosmetic treatments can achieve natural and noticeable results, but outcomes vary between individuals.
-
Multiple sessions may be required to achieve or maintain results.
-
Risks, side effects, and downtime will be discussed during your consultation. By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that you understand these factors.
-
No guarantees are made regarding the exact outcome of any treatment.
-
Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided following your procedure. It is essential that you follow these guidelines to achieve the best results and minimise risks.
-
If you experience any unexpected side effects or complications, you must contact Pose Aesthetics promptly so we can provide appropriate follow-up care or referral if required.
4. Refunds & Remedies
-
In line with the Australian Consumer Law, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
-
If a product or service is faulty, unsafe, or fails to meet Consumer Guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
-
Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction with treatment results, as outcomes vary between individuals.
5. Skin Treatments & Medical-Grade Skincare
-
Microneedling, chemical peels, and other non-prescription services require a consultation to assess suitability.
-
Medical-grade skincare products are provided with professional guidance to ensure safe and effective use.
-
Please follow instructions provided by your practitioner. Misuse may reduce effectiveness or increase risk of side effects.
6. Health & Safety
-
Clients must disclose their full medical history, allergies, and any medications prior to treatment.
-
For safety reasons, we may refuse to perform a treatment if it is not clinically appropriate.
-
Pregnant or breastfeeding clients may not be suitable for certain treatments.
7. Payments
-
Payment is required at the time of treatment or product purchase.
-
Gift vouchers are available but cannot be exchanged for cash.
